Branch caseworker

A branch caseworker is required for a busy trade union branch office in North Somerset. The postholder will provide representation and advice to UNISON members where there is no workplace representative. The post is based in the branch office in Weston-super-Mare but there is potential for working from home and the postholder will be required to support members, in person and virtually, across the district. The job has been evaluated as being equivalent to local government NJC Level 6 and pay, terms and conditions mirror this NJC grade.
Hours: 14 hours a week with the potential of an average 2 hours a week over time. Working hours and overtime arranged via mutual agreement. The current caseworker works for 7 hours a day on Mondays and Fridays with overtime on other days as required, but this working pattern is open to negotiation with the new post-holder.
